Pool Guard Saves The Day In a "Giant" Way!
On the Saturday morning before the Super Bowl we received a telephone call from a potential customer who was in dire straights. He and his wife were planning a large Super Bowl party the next day and realized that there were going to be several small children at their home for the festivities. He desperately needed a pool fence installed THAT day. He realized that with a house full of adults glued to the Super Bowl nobody would be properly watching the little ones, who could easily gain access to the pool area. Our schedule was full, but somehow we managed to accommodate this customer's needs and got the pool fence installed around his swimming pool on Saturday evening.
Needless to say, the customer was very grateful to us for going the extra yard (no pun intended!) and everybody was able to relax and enjoy the Super Bowl and more importantly, the little ones were protected by the pool having a pool safety fence around it.

Pool Fences and Handicapped Children
Over the years we've installed many pool fences for people with handicapped children. While those children may have been older than toddler age, they are also as vulnerable, if not more so, to an accident. Parents of handicapped children have recognized the need to protect their pool from their children accidentally moving their wheelchair too close to the edge of the pool or a freak accident that could occur. A pool fence can and does protect those who can't protect themselves. Parents of handicapped children have told us time and time again how relieved they are to know that their children are protected when around the pool area. As you can see, a pool fence can save lives in so many different ways.

A Pool Fence Could Have Prevented This Tragedy
In a separate incident, on the same day, a toddler was recovering in the hospital after his older sister and a police officer saved him from nearly drowning in the swimming pool. Again, a pool fence could have prevented this accident.
By the way, Pool Guard of Broward County is installing a pool safety fence for the mother of one of the paramedics on the scene of the drownings in Sunrise. The paramedic has two small children and his mother, who lives in Sunrise, has a swimming pool. This tragedy struck home with the paramedic and he insisted that his mother have a pool fence installed at her home ASAP.
